As darkness and rain fall over the Sarthe, the Corvette of John Fitch and Bob Grossman leads the Ferrari of Gendebien and Frere past the pits.  Of the three Cunningham Corvettes entered it was the No.3 car that was victorious in the prestigious GT category.
