LE MANS 1954

The 1954 race will be remembered for the intensity of the battle between Ferrari and Jaguar, played out in almost permanent wet conditions. It was the Ferrari 375 Plus of Jose Gonzalez and Maurice Trintignant that took the chequered flag narrowly beating the Rolt/Hamilton Jaguar D-type.
