SICILIAN MAGIC

The Targa Florio of 1955 was the final event for Mercedes before their withdrawal from competition.  The image depicts Stirling Moss in the battered 300 SLR he shared with Peter Collins rushing to victory through Campofelice on the final lap.  The win gave Mercedes the World Sports Car Championship.
