TARGA FLORIO 1970

Brian Redman and Jo Siffert won the Sicilian classic in 1970 driving a Porsche 908/3. The winning car is depicted as it climbs into the mountains from Cerda with Vaccarella’s Ferrari 512 in pursuit. The ‘diamonds’ car completed 11 laps of the tortuous Targa circuit to cover a distance of 491 miles at an average speed of 75 mph to win its race debut.
