TRIBUTE TO FORD – THE 1965 INDY 500

Driving the Len Terry designed Lotus 38, Jim Clark averaged over 150 mph for the first time to win the 500 miles with the Wood Brothers family the pit crew.  Parnelli Jones in the Hurst Special came in second and the Dean Van Lines Special of Mario Andretti was the third place finisher.  The first three cars were all powered by Ford.
